PSG: Paradise Grove Avocados Review & Giveaway

I am an avocado lover and if you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that by now. Some say avocados are tasteless, I completely disagree. It all depends on how you eat or prepare them! Not only do I love the taste, but I love the nutritional punch they offer. Avocados contain just the right type of healthy fat that pregnant women and their growing babies need…

Paradise Grove Avocados Review

I was sent Avocados from Paradise Grove to review. I must say that these Avocados are absolutely beautiful…all of them are uniformly the same size and when first sent were a gorgeous shade of green. It took about a week until my Avocados were ripe enough to eat. Thankfully my patience paid off because these Avocados are the best I have ever tasted-rich and thick not watery or stringy…

Paradise Grove Avocados Review and Giveaway

When I received my box of avocados from Paradise Grove, the first thing I noticed was the size of the avocados. They were HUGE! Significantly larger than the Haas Avocados from Mexico that I usually purchase at the grocery store. I also noticed the rich, green color of the skin. These avocados just LOOKED healthier in appearance than some I had seen in the past.

Paradise Grove Avocados Review

The company sends the avocados pretty firm in order to allow the buyer to have these avocados ripen in their own time. Paradise Grove harvests their avocados green, retaining its quality through shipment and when received by the buyer. Can you believe they let their avocados harvest until they reach 8 ounces! That is a alot of avocado and lots of flesh too!

They are packed with carotenoid lutein and just an ounce of avocado contains nearly 20 vitamins and minerals.

Get Me Some Green

I was recently fortunate enough to sample a Hass avocado from Paradise Grove in Ventura, California. Now, not being a big guacamole fan, I’m always looking for interesting ways to use this bumpy, green fruit. One thing I love is actually mashing up very ripe avocados and using them to replace half of the fat in quick bread and muffin recipes. You’d be amazed at the results!

Review: Huge & Delicious Avocados by Paradise Grove Avocados

http://www.pinkdandychatter.com/2011/08/review-huge-delicious-avocados-by.html

I always get so upset after I buy avocados from the grocery store because they only last a day or two before they go bad. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first opened the Paradise Grove avocado box. The size of the avocado’s is just amazingly big, especially when you compare them to the grocery store avocado (which seem very small).

Paradise Grove Avocados (Review)

I have always enjoyed a yummy, green and ripe avocado. I eat mine with salt, yum! They are healthy and fill me up fast. I usually just buy mine at the supermarket, but was excited to see that I could buy them online, and have them shipped right to my door. Paradise Grove Avocados ships directly to you…
